James P McCall attended Texas A & M University where he attained a BS in Animal Science, an MS in , an Ms in and a Ph.D in . He developed the horse programs for Texas A & M, the University of Maryland and Louisiana Tech University.
Lynda McCall graduated from the University of Maryland Cum Laude with a B.S. in Animal Science. She did graduate work at the University of Maryland and Louisiana Tech accumulating 60 hours of post graduate work. She taught at the University of Maryland as a graduate assistant and an adjunct professor at the Louisiana Tech University.
